Who We Are
SERI is a community-centered initiative committed to epistemic and educational justice. We work to reclaim, uplift, and validate the local wisdom, cultural knowledge, oral histories, and lived experiences often excluded or marginalized by dominant educational systems.
Grounded in the spirit of Śāriputra (Sariputta) — the Buddha's foremost disciple in wisdom — our approach emphasizes critical inquiry, empirical understanding, and compassionate learning.

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏ ကွန်ရက်ကို မည်သူမဆိုပါဝင်နိုင်ပြီး၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာနှင့် လွတ်လပ်စွာ မျှဝေနိုင်သော အသိပညာရပ်ဝန်းတစ်ခု ဖြစ်လာစေရန် မျှော်မှန်းထားပါသည်။
တစ်နည်းအားဖြင့်ဆိုရသော် ငုပ်လျိုးနေသည့် ဒေသန္တရ အမှတ်သညာများအား ပြန်လည်တူးဆွဖော်ထုတ်ပြီး၊ နေ့စဉ်ဘဝထဲမှလာသည့် လူတစ်ဦးတစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီ၏ အတွေ့အကြုံ၊ ခံစားသိ ဗဟုသုတများနှင့် အတတ်ပညာများအား တန်ဖိုးထားကာ၊ အဆင့်မြင့် ပညာရပ်ဝန်း (Ivory Tower) နှင့် ပေါင်းစပ်၍ ဉာဏ်ပညာနှင့် ပြည့်ဝသည့် လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်လာစေရန် လုပ်ဆောင်သွားပါမည်။
We envision our network becoming an inclusive knowledge sphere where everyone can participate, share freely, and coexist peacefully.
In other words, we aim to unearth submerged local identities and wisdom. By valuing the lived experiences, intuitive knowledge, and skills embedded in the daily lives of individuals, we seek to integrate them with the Ivory Tower to build a truly wisdom-filled society.

To support youth, local educators, and grassroots groups in investigating their realities, documenting their wisdom, and speaking back to systems that silence them through training, mentoring, and collaborative research.
